What is Ewebstore?

An Ewebstore is specialized cart site with the exclusive capability of being able to integrate with Trademe through our own automation software OMINS and Easylister.


The platform we use for the Ewebstore is called OpenCart, it is a popular open source cart system used by thousands of online retailers worldwide. We essentially set this up for you pre-configured for an NZ e-commerce environment (configured to NZ GST and NZ regions) and with a specialized “OpenCart connector” plugin which we have developed to allow your cart to communicate with your OMINS, much the same way OMINS can manage auctions.

    Product images,price and details uploaded and updated from OMINS directly to your website.

  • Orders

    Orders from your site are processed into OMINS, after which paid orders can be marked as paid in OMINS.

  • Stock

    OMINS is the central system, when an order comes through from your site or trademe the stock level is decreased on the website, trademe and in OMINS.

    OpenCart has very good caching and runs very fast even on a low spec server. some other popular cart systems we found were slow unless they are on an expensive powerful server. This means OpenCart will be highly responsive, which is vital for customers in an e-commerce environment.
